The UK's 1st OT informed sensory store for teens and adults.
Born from frustration. Defined by a sensory journey.
Dovetail Sensory brings together the professional expertise of an award-winning occupational therapist and the practical experience of a neurodivergent adult.
After many years struggling to find sensory tools for personal and professional use that were functional and empowering, rather than childish or clinical, we decided to change our thinking and create our own solution.
And with 20 years of expertise working with adults and teens focusing on sensory processing, combined with the real life experience of an autistic adult, we knew we had the key ingredients to establish something unique.
So, we started out on a painstaking journey to build a collection of specialist sensory resources that are not only effective and evidence-informed, but also thoughtfully designed, aesthetically considered, and supportive for everyday adult life.
We hope our sensory journey will benefit you in the same way it has helped so many others.

ADULTHOOD
Most sensory equipment on the market is geared toward children. Yet teens and adults - especially those who are autistic, ADHD, highly sensitive, or living with the effects of trauma - also benefit deeply from regulating sensory input.
We see a need for sensory resources that respect adulthood.
Products that feel empowering rather than clinical, are built to last, and seamlessly dovetail into your home, work, or community life.
